California Food Is Medicine member agencies stepped up to respond to the increasing need for nutritious meals across the state during the COVID-19 crisis. Our member agencies doubled or tripled the number of meals they delivered to medically-fragile individuals. Providing home-delivered, dietary appropriate food to clients in need is crucial for them to stay safe and nourished, and avoid hospitalizations.
